When I first began using Photoshop in January 2006, I wanted to start simple, so I started doing lightsabers. They looked really cruddy, but as time went along I greatly improved my technique to the point where people now tell me they look professional. I'm nowhere near as excited about Star Wars as I used to be, but I still think it's fun to do these kinds of pictures every now and then.
